SAI June Issues Forum with Special Olympics Indiana

Join us for the June edition of SAI’s Monthly Issues Forum! This month, we will be hosting Jeff Mohler of Special Olympics Indiana to discuss the importance of Special Olympics, Special Olympics programming in Indiana, and how self-advocates can get involved.

Special Olympics Indiana is a nonprofit organization part of the global Special Olympics movement, which uses sport, health, education, and leadership programs around the world to empower people with intellectual disabilities. At its core, Special Olympics is a sports organization that uses the power of sport as a catalyst for social change. Special Olympics Indiana provides year-round sports training and athletic competition of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Athletes have the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship.
